This policy explains what Versus Sports Simulator collects about you, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers our website at versussportssimulator.com and our mobile apps (together, the "Service").
Versus Sports Simulator is operated by Compughter Technologies, LLC ("we", "us"). We are a sports simulation and ratings service. We are not a sportsbook and you cannot place bets with us.
The Service is intended for people 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Information you give us when you create an account:
We do not store your credit card number, expiry, or security code. Card details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor, and we never see or hold them.
Information collected automatically when you use the Service:
We use this visit information to operate the Service, not just to measure it. It is how we count free simulations against the limit for non-subscribers, so someone cannot reset their allowance by signing out.
Information you type into Ask Versus: questions you submit to our Ask Versus AI feature are sent to our AI provider to generate an answer. See "Ask Versus and AI" below.
We set cookies to keep you signed in between visits and to remember your session. Turning these off will stop you from being able to log in.
Our analytics and advertising partners also set cookies through our pages. You can block these in your browser settings or via the opt-outs listed below, without losing access to the Service.
We use the following third parties to run the Service. Each receives only what it needs to do its job, and each has its own privacy policy governing what it does with that data:
We do not sell your personal information for money.
However, under California law the use of advertising cookies like the Google and Meta tags described above may count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you would rather that not happen, you can opt out using the links in the next section, and we will honour a Global Privacy Control signal sent by your browser.
Ask Versus answers questions using a third-party AI provider. When you submit a question, the text of that question and the sports data needed to answer it are sent to that provider. Do not enter personal or sensitive information into Ask Versus. We do not send your name, email, or payment details along with your question.
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists, and after cancellation, so that your history is intact if you come back. We do not automatically delete accounts on a schedule. If you want your information removed, ask us and we will delete it — see "Your Choices" below.
Visit records used for free-tier limits are kept in our database as part of our operating history.
Whoever and wherever you are, you can ask us to:
To make any of these requests, email support@versussportssimulator.com. We will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently, or degrade the Service, because you exercised any of these rights.
If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your national data protection authority. Our legal bases for processing are: performing our contract with you (running your account and subscription), our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service, enforcing free-tier limits), and your consent (advertising and analytics cookies).
You can opt out of specific partners directly:
We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of what we hold.
We operate from the United States and our servers are located there. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. If the change materially affects how we use your information, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
